Laziomar

Laziomar, or Lazio Regional Maritime, is an Italian ferry company connecting various port towns on the mainland’s west coast, close to Rome and Naples, with the Pontine Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Originally based in Rome, the business moved further south towards the Pontine area in June 2011 when it was taken over by a group of leading Italian shipping companies. Today, Laziomar offers year-round links to the beautiful Pontine archipelago with their fleet of modern, high-speed vessels.

Laziomar uses 9 ferries which have all attained Italian Naval Register certifications, ensuring passengers can enjoy the highest standard of safety on board. The fleet comprises a mix of hydrofoils, high-speed crafts and larger ferries which can carry over 600 passengers and roughly 60 vehicles as well.

The fastest of the fleet, ‘Monte Gargano’ can travel at 34 knots, allowing you to sail from Formia to the island of Ponza with comfort and ease, and the newest, ‘Laura’, was built in 2009, boasting a sleek design with a spacious sun deck to the rear.
